What Casues Muscle Ache Along With Fatigue And Swollen Lymph Nodes?

My 37 year old son has severe muscle pain, fatigue, swollen glands on the neck and back of head. He has had mono and Epstein bar diagnosis around 3 years ago. The mystery is there is no fever. A trip to the ER yesterday showed nothing on the blood work.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
In my opinion, you should definitely evaluate her for mono and epstein barr infection.
Absence of fever is seen with such infections.
So no fever does not rule out such infections.
In my opinion, you should get done fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) to confirm the diagnosis.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
