Hi My name is Ruth and my father is in his 80 s. He just coughed and something popped in his throat on the left side and it is now swollen - should we have this looked at? he has thyroid problems (HYPO), cholesterol, heart murmur, history of Lyme, poliomyelitis arthritis, spinal stenosis

Could be clavicular or rib injury. He needs to be properly examined for the same and to rule out any other pathology.
