What Casues Swollen Bruising On Chest?

Hi, I have been randomly getting a rather large bruise all over the right side of my chest accompanied by soreness and some swelling. It usually lasts a few hours, and was not brought on by any trauma. I figure it s nothing but I would still like to have some kind of idea as to why it s happening. Thanks!

spontaneous bruising without trauma could be due to an underlying bleeding disorder which needs to be ruled out.

Please get a blood test to check platelet count, bleeding time, clotting time and prothrombin time.
