What Cause Continuous Pricking Pain At The Back Of My Hip?

I realise a continuous pricking pain at the back of my right side hip. it comes for sometimes and goesoff byitself.
it lost through out the day and night. when ever i take some food some time it goes and later it comes. what is the symptom. is it serious ?
