What Cause Discomfort In My Ear After Swimming?

Hi, I m 15 years old and I have anxiety. I have an uncomfortable problem. One night after swimming, I was sitting down watching televison. I noticed a discomfort in my ear.. It felt like someone was pulling it up. I have a habit of moving my ear (for some time now), yeah, embarrassing. :( I want to know if my moving of the ear is putting pressure around and in my ear, if it was water that was the problem, or if it s a stressing problem. Because my anxiety is horrible. When I hear a door open, a car outside, or any unexpected noise, BOTH of my ears rise up for a quick sec and go back to normal. Even when I smile, I feel like my face muscles are tight. I feel like my face is going to get stuck. I can t laugh, smile, talk, eat, without feeling pressure. I feel like I m going insane and with anxiety, it s even worse to deal with! I m worried about what is going to happen in the future that I just want to commit suicide. Yeah that bad. Please help me!! Thank you.

Hi thanks for your query. Ear going up while smiling and laughing is normal because of muscle contraction. Discomfort in ear while swimming is normal because of of pressure variation. Thee is nothing much to worry about. Consult with the doctor and get evaluated.
