What Cause Eye Pain And High Light Sensitivity?

My 3 year old daughter keeps complaing of eye pain. This has been going on for months. She eil actuallu press reallu hatd on her eye and cry. I've taken her to the eye doctor and instructed me to put on eye patch on. It hasn't helped at all. She is alsi super sensitive to light. She always squints that one eye.

It seems from the history that your 3 year old daughter is having eye pain and sensitivity to light.
This indicates corneal problem in the corneal abrasion or corneal epithelial defect.
The treatment is by use of antibiotics in the form of eye drops and eye ointments, artificial tears in the form of eye drops or gels. Applying a eye patch as advised by your doctor will help to prevent pain and hep in healing.
If she is not responding to this line of treatment, she requires evaluation to rule out other causes like inflammations or allergies affecting the cornea.
