What Cause Hard Lumps On The Knee?

I have a hard tender lump on the bottom outside of my knee. I ve been sick for quite some time now... Can it b related? I nothing the lump about two weeks ago, I don t recall hitting it or running into anything. There wasn t any swelling or bruising, just hard and tender to the touch. Any ideas?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* As there is tenderness on touch, it suggests sign of an underlying inflammation process most likely in a previously unnoticed soft tissue lesion as sebaceous cyst or else.

* However, if you can provide me a high resolution photo image of the lump, I can guide further precisely through my surgical experience. Awaiting for your response.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
