What Cause Heaviness On The Head With Weakness?

i have a 16 yr old daughter who has been awake for 1 hour (2 1/2 hour sessions) since last night at 8 pm. she aches, has a heavy head, and, obviously, is exhausted. i felt her head this afternoon and it was warm, but i didn t take her temperature. my kids rarely get temps - even with pneumonia and strep. ideas?

Low grade fever with exhaustion and headache is suggestive of viral fever..Most of time it is associated with sore throat and nasal congestion . It will resolve in 3 to 4 days..In the mean time you give her painkiller such as paracetamol on sos basis.ask for rest and plenty of fluid.
