What Cause Severe Pain In The Knees?

Hi I dislocated my knee when I was 15 I am now 20, today I thought it had dislocated again but when I looked my knee was still in place it was extremely painful, when I straightened my leg out it clicked is it just my knee or could I have a different problem

Knee joint pain with clicking sound is more suggestive of ligamental or meniscus injury.
So better to consult orthopedic doctor and get done clinical examination and MRI of affected knee joint.
You may need immobilization for 1-2 weeks.
