What Cause Severe Stomach Pain After Taking Prolia?

I am having a knot or fist like pain in my stomach, at first just after a bowel movement, but lately more often. I use to take Celebrex, but I stopped that medication, except for 4 pills in the last month. This stomach problem started a little over a month ago. I took the fecal home test & it was negative. What I wanted to know if my Prolia shot (the third one I received in the last year & a half) & was given in December (the month before I started having this problem) could cause my problem? I have lost 7 pounds in the last month. Could the Prolia cause these systems?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be due to gastritis or acid reflux. As a first line management, you can take antacids like Omeprazole or Pantoprazole for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist you can consult a gastroenterologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
