Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Cause Slight Nausea, Shortness Of Breath And Shaky Hands And Body?
I am taking trimethoprim for a bladder infection. Will it react with meds such as ramopril, lercanidipine both for blood pressure. Also fluoxetine for depression, metaformin for pre-diabetic symptoms, meloxicam 15mg, , pantoprazole to ease the stomach because of the meloxicam, Panadol osteo, 100mg aspirin. My symptoms are slight nausea, a little more short of breath than usual and my hands are shaking & my body is a little shaky, too
The nausea, shortness of breath, shaky hands and body do indicate side effect of Trimethoprim which is sulfa group of drug used for control of urinary tract infections. It is best recommended to stop consumption of further doses of Trimethoprim and report to office of your doc for further guidelines.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
