What Cause Sore Throat, swollen Lymph Nodes And Whitish Throat?
Hi, I am 25yrs. I have been having a sore scratchy throat for some time now. Lymph nodes in my neck are swollen and I feel pressure in my ears. Also when I swallow I feel something like sort of a pop for lack of a better way to decribe. Also the inside of my mouth particularly the back of my throat is whitish, and I get sorta bumpy looking things in there. What are the possibilities of this being? I have numerous other symptoms which im seeing a rheumatologist for. I have had 5 teeth removed in the past 2 years(4wisdoms,1molar) in case that could have something to do with it. What could be going on? Thanks, Nikki
Possible causes are: 1. Acute pharygitis. 2. Oral candidiasis. 3. Follicular tonsilitis. 4. Agranulocytosis. 5. Tonsilar membrane in diptheria.
Infectious mononucleosis may also present like this. Use water vapour inhalation thrice a day for five days. Salt water gargling thrice a day for five days. Use tablet amoxicillin and clavulinic acid 625 mg twice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult with your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
