What Cause Sudden Pain In The Kidney Area?

Hi,
I am an athletic and healthy 57 year old male. Rather suddenly I am experiencing debilitating pain in my right kidney area (lower back, right side). I have been hiking a few days before, no lifting. I almost cannot walk right now with shooting pain. Any thoughts?
Thank you,
JP

Dear JP,Thank you for your question on HCM.
considering the fcat that you are an athlete and that you have been hiking from a few days,i would like to consider that you may have a pulled muscle.Take Tab.myoril plus twice a day for two days (after food) and apply a hot compress for relief.you can apply brufen gel for pain relief.
hope this information was helpful.
regards,
Dr.Radhika
