What Cause Tiny Black Dots On The Gums?

right on my front bottom teeth i just found it today i have a tiny tiny tiny blackish dot in my gums. it dosent hurt and i never had a cavitie but it seems to me everytime i'm about to go to the dentist i find something and the dentist claim i dont have a cavitie what is it?
