What Caused Bitter Taste In Mouth When Over Exhausted?

I went on a strenuous river rafting trip this weekend and over exerted myself. At one point in my exhaustion I developed a very bitter taste in my mouth that improved when I drank water as we continued down river but didn t cease for about 3 hours. I have not had it since. what could cause that?

I really appreciate your concern looking to the history given here I could say that because of the starvation such symptom is likely and no need to worry about this because this would come around once you have a the right diet and correct the hydration, take care and have a nice day.
