hello. before work this morning I experienced a severe cramp and it passed. Then when I went to the bathroom the panty liner I had on was covered in a very thick brown discharge. Most brown vaginal discharges are harmless or a natural process for the female body. At times it could be a sign that you have a sexually transmissible infection.

Dark brown discharges can be more serious and should be checked out. It could be caused by pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) or a cancerous process. I would suggest you take an appointment with your gynecologist for proper assessment.
