What Caused Sudden Loss Of Taste, Burning Tongue Which Feels Large And Nexium Not Working As Well?

Hello, and thank you,
I am a 65 year old lady living in Australia. 4 weeks ago I lost my sense of all taste.. nothing at all is working. I have not had a meal in all that time...losing weight and feeling very frustrated with this condition. Yes, my tongue is burning and feels large in my mouth. I take Nexium daily and have changed the brand to see if that may help....but no. No ulcers or mouth issues at all...... What do you think.

I think this could be a B12 deficinecy. You need to get the b12 levels done. Also get a complete blood count done. It could be an allergy as well and then would respond to cetrizine or avil.
