Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
MAle , 51 years old I had a full blood picture, VDRL and urine analysis.for med insurance purposes. Blood picture all normal, VDRL negative, 10-15 pus cells in urine is the only symptom not in normal range.
I understand there are dozens of possible reasons for pus in urine, including kidney stones (that I had 15 years ago) and a urine culture is advisable. However on a simpler note: Urine analysis was midday, previous day had a vigorous masturbate, could that be the cause? Many thanks
You are suffering from urinary tract infection(UTI).It is not related to masturbation done on previous day. UTI is indicated by presence of excess pus cells in urine. You need few more investigations like routine hemogram,Random blood sugar,Renal function test,Urine culture and sensitivity and Ultrasound of abdomen. Further investigations can be done if needed. At present you need proper antibiotics after culture and sensitivity report.
Hope i have answered your query. Get well soon.
Take Care Dr.Indu Bhushan
