What Causes Itching Red Bumps All Over The Body?

hello, I m Erin, I ve been getting these little red bumps all over my body, they aren t like a rash though because they re all spread out like bug bites. the itch really badly and more and more keep appearing. My friend thought it might be a heat rash, but I haven t been in extreme temperatures for a while and i haven t done any too hard of activities, any ideas?

Hi,

It may be lichen urticatus, also called papular urticaria. It is a hypersensitive reaction to the insects.

Kindly consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment.

I would suggest to take antihistaminics like fexofenadine 180 mg daily. And take steroids in tapering dose. Apply mild steroid cream. Keep away from the insects..bedbugs,flea and mosquitoes.
