What Causes PTB Lesions In The Upper Lung?

Hi Dr. I would like to know the findings noted on my XRay findings. It says Follow up study last March 14, 2015 shows interval progression of PTB lessions in the right upper lungs . What is the meaning of this? I already have my medical certificate that I am PTB stable. Thanks

Thanks for asking at Healthcare Magic. I read your question and I understand your concern.
Progressive PTB lesions in upper lobe implies two things.
1.Scarring due to lesions
2. Reactivation of PTB
I would like to advise you to have sputum AFB, CT thorax with contrast, ESR.
Bronchoscopy is another option but it's invasive.
Any tuberculosis lesion later gets fibrose due to healing of parenchymal tissue.
Hope it helps best.
