What Causes Pessary Tablet To Come Out Followed By Itching?

Hi..I just experienced vaginal thrush ..I bought the pessary and cream duo..This is the 3rd day after using the pessary the first two days I experienced the chalky discharge but today while washing up the rest of the pessary tablet came out and I still feel a little bit itchy..does it mean it hasn't worked.
