Rheumatologist 's  Response
Good evening. The voice change you are describing could be due to vocal cords edema.it can happen initially due to intake of steroids initially. Although rare side effrct it is a possibility. You can ask your rheumatologist if the dose can be tapered. Also get an ENT review done to look for any other cause. Hope the information was useful.
