What Causes SOB After Removing The Mask Of The CPAP Machine?
I started on CPAP for OSA six days ago...first three days went well...fourth day had SOB after removing mask, which did not go away with one night off CPAP. Tried CPAP again last night...SOB still. Any ideas? (Have HTN, well-controlled, mild kidney disfunction ?IgA nepropathy, use Losatren, Crestor QAM and Claritin HS)
CPAP is giving air at much higher pressure to keep your air passage open.so when you stop CPAP your airway walls are collapse and causes breathing difficulty. Best way for OSA is weight loss, stay fit and healthy and titrate your pressure according to your need.
