Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain Sjogrens Syndrome is an
autoimmune disease in which body starts producing
antibodies against own body organs leading to their damage and depletion of its function..
In Sjogrens Syndrome mainly Salivary Glands and tear glands are affected leading to classical features of
Dry mouth and dry eyes..
Sores in mouth can also be due to Dry mouth that causes thinning and inflammation of the mucosa..
I would suggest you to
consult a Rheumatologist and get proper evaluation done and treatment can be done according to the diagnosis..
As of now to relieve dry mouth start using artificial saliva drops..
Chew sugar free chewing gum..
Drink plenty of water..
For sores in.mouth Gargle with numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine..
Take anti-inflammatory painkillers like
Ibuprofen..
Suck ice pops and do cool water rinses..
Take soft and bland diet..
Hope this helps..
Regards.
