I have a blocked ear (left ear), with this I also have ear ache (not constant). I can feel swelling and have a continuous discharge from the ear (small amounts), the discharge looks clear when I whipe it, I used a Cue Tip to take a small swap of inside my ear (right at the openning) I didn t push it in but twisted, to take a sample of what the discharge is. The discharge (on the Cue Tip) looked like watery wax mixed with a little blood (orangey red mix). I am also suffering from lack of hearing in my ear.
Probably you may injured the layer of external auditory meatus (Q tip injury). So don't insert any thing into ears. Use water vapour inhalation for clogged ears. Use tablet Lecope-AD for decongestion. If symptoms not improved please consult with your ENT specialist he will do ear endoscopy and treat you accordingly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
