Hello welcome to HCM. Tachycardia means increased heart rate that can be normal in some persons when they are mentally or physically stressful. But more importantly we have to understand which type of Tachycardia is that because sometimes it may be dangerous. So don't get panic, my advice will be definitely help you.
1.Do your routine blood and urine test frst including thyroid profile, CBC, S. Creat and lipid profile. 2 . Ideally you should undergo holter monitoring (it records 24 hrs ecg of your heart), so it will give your doctor proper idea about your problem. So go for holter. 3.Never take alternate day medicines for BP and heart rate otherwise your problem will be increased, instead you should take low dose daily, so that your blood pressure will not fall. 4.Dont get panic at the time of palpitations, just keep calm and lie down at the time of episode. Thank you.
