Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband and I stopped having inter course because i get uti s within days of activity. We have tried emptying my bladder, cranberry juice, cleaning up after sex etc. I was told my bladder is falling slowly.what can I do to restore our sexlife without surgery?
As per my clinical experience, there are various predisposing factors which may provoke urinary tract infection after sexual intercourse. - Short female urethra with high chances of ascending infection via bacteria or fungi at external genitalia - Hygiene related issue - Wiping genitals from back to front after washroom use, promoting peri-anal bacteria entry into genital region - associated urethritis or cystitis - Low hydration level - Penile infections of partner - Low immunity level - Alterations in the pH and vaginal flora
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
