My grandson was born with VACTERL association. He has every affliction except no L. limb defects. He looks perfect on the outside. He ll be 3 in January. He was born in MN and spent over two months in PICU there. He has had many surgeries. They moved to Houston 2 years ago and now his docs are at TX Children s. However, for the past two years he wakes up during the night, always during the night, having severe breathing issues. He s had countless ambulance rides to the hospital, yet nobody can diagnose this. Not in MN and not in TX. They think it is a pulmonary issue, so my question is: what is the best hospital in the US or who is the best doctor. The net tells me Boston Children s or Cincinnati.
