What Causes A 9 Months Baby Girl Leaking Mucus From Vagina?

my daughter is 9 mos old and there was a very little bit of red mucus like discharge in her diaper. I am inspecting her vagina for cuts or abrasions but don t see anything. Do you know if this is common? or do we need to go to the E.R. I ve been checking her every few minutes since I changed her about an hour ago, that s when I first seen it, as I wiped her.

I have gone through your query. Your baby girls discharge from vagina is most likely due to your hormones which she exposed in uterus. This if fades in some days then nothing to worry. Clean with warm water or saline. Avoid using soaps. If this continues without stopping or bleeding is more then approach your doctor.
