What Causes A Bad Cold, Fever, Chills, Body Pain And Severe Cough?

I've come down with what I thot was the flu or a bad cold about five days ago. It's started with fever/chills and body aches the first day and a half. By the second day my chest hurt due to coughing. It's going on day 5 and I've lost my voice my throat feels as if it's been scratched severely and I'm still coughing. I am about 14 weeks pregnant....Tylenol and cough drops haven't been any help :(

Hi,
It seems that you might be having acute respiratory tract infection.
This might be bacterial infection.
Go for one antibiotic medicine course like Azithromicin or Amoxicilin, clauvunic acid medicine for 5 days.
Continue with cough syrup.
Avoid cold drinks, fried and junk food.
Ok and take care.
