What Causes A Bad Odoured Hemorrhoid Draining Blood?

I developed hemmroids 2 weeks ago (very 1st time) after being constipated and sitting trying to have a BM for over 15 minutes. I took pictures the 1st day I felt the lumps and noticed a blood clot had formed on the hemmroid. I immediately began using preparation H & made sure I was keeping the area clean but mid last week thru this week I believe the blood clot busted because I was at the office, went to the bath room and it was blood everywhere in my panties and I wasn t on my cycle so I knew the bleeding was from that hemmroid. The bleeding has since slowed down this week but now my issue is that while the hemmroid is still visible and I can feel it, it has a very foul odor even after I ve wiped the area clean, fresh out the shower or even while just sitting at the office working, It smells fishy and today after getting out the shower I took a another picture of it and noticed what looks like an open wound where the clot was but now its tar like in color and I put my finger there & confirmed that s where the odor is from. Is it infected? I can only assume that the foul odor is associated with an infection? Or absess maybe? Should I be majorly concerned? What are my options!?? I m really worried
