What Causes A Black Discolouration At The Site Of Mole Extraction?

Hi, ive had a smallish on the side of my face for about 5 or more years now. I was told by my gp back then that it was a white mole which we have now found out it is not. Ive squeezed it and think i removed the majority of the insides and its a lot smaller now (i know i shouldnt have done this) and now a small blackish dot has formed in the middle of it. What should I do?
