What Causes A Blister Around An Implanon Removal Site?

I had my implanon removed 4 days ago. After removing the bandage after 48 hours I noticed a large blister below the white bandage straps where it was removed. It popped and a yellow liquid and blood came out. Is this normal or should I go to urgent care to have it looked at.

Thanks
