Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a small blister that appears in the back right inner crook of my mouth, every few weeks or so. It s always in the same spot and eventually bursts, with clear fluid. It is taking longer to burst this time and I am a little bothered by it. Do you know what would cause such a thing? Thanks, ~Chris Maroni
I can understand your concern. It seems that you have decay or infection in the tooth that is exudating pus from the sinus tract formed.
If you have infection in the tooth, it makes pus that needs to find its way out. If there is no opening in the tooth, the pus finds it way through the root and damages the bone around the tooth appearing from the gum by making a hole like structure (sinus) there.
To stop this process, you need to visit a dentist and confirm presence of infection in the tooth by clinical examination and x-ray. If infection is indeed present, root canal treatment or extraction of the tooth depending on the extent of the decay can cure the present problem.
I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you feel better soon.
Best, Dr. Viraj Shah
