General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* As per the description, the blood clot seems to be thrombophlebitis at the old injection shot site.
* It is recommended to undertake a doppler ultrasound of the part for a further definite line of management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
