What Causes A Blood Filled Blister On The Head Of Penis?

I have a 5 mm blood blister on the head of my penis. I can move the blood around if I push it. This followed sexual activity yesterday afternoon. I am uncircumsized. How long must I wait for this to subside and is there anything I should do treatment wise?
