What Causes A Boil On The Thigh?

Last week I noticed i had a boil on the side of my thigh about the size of a dime and the skin on it started peeling. But as of now it s about the size of a quarter and the peeling of the skin got larger. To also add the boil is hard and red. What do I do?

Hello dear
I understand your concern
It could be due to hair follicle infection, abscess, infected sebaceous gland.
Clinical examination by primary care physicain is must for the diagnosis.
Doctor will give following advises:
Tablet augmentin
Apply mupirocin ointment
Apply warm pad application
Maintain proper pelvic hygiene
If not resolves then it should be excised by putting the incision.
