What Causes A Bright Orange And Water Discharge With Foul Odor, After An Abortion?
I had an abortion 3/27/2014 four days after that i start having a fishy smell. Now i have a bright orange and water discharge...the odor is super foul. I was given no antibiotics and nothing to make the cervix close also I have mild pain. I have contacted the clinic 3 times with no call back from them at all

As you describe you have bacterial vaginosis.
The best treatment is Metronidazole (Flagyl) taken by either oral (pill) form or by vaginal metronidazole gel (Metrogel) is an effective treatment.
It can be used by oral way as a single dose or for 7 days regimen.
The oral metronidazole can cause some minor but unpleasant side effects, but is the most effective treatment.
The gels do not typically cause side effects, although yeast vaginitis can occur as a side effect of the medication.
Another type of medication for bacterial vaginosis is Tinidazole (Tindamax) is an antibiotic that appears to have fewer side effects than metronidazole and is also effective in treating bacterial vaginosis.
