What Causes A Bruise On Arm With A Circular White Dot?

I got a bruise on my right arm with a circular hard white dot in the center. The circular white dot is painful when I touch it. I have it for the past 4 days. It seems like the bruise is spreading but not the circular white hard dot. Should I go to the doctor to get it checked out? I am a diabetic, type 1.

Hello,

From the description it appears you are developing a boil like lesion. There is a possibility of having puss in it . So you need to have very strict glucose control with FBG

It is necessary to have well controlled glucose levels to help early healing of w9unds. Plus there is a need to take a course of an antibiotic in consultation with your local doctor and If the lesion does develop pus, that needs to be properly addressed to, by way of cleaning and dressing every day till pus is cleared. Do not neglect it and do consult the doctor early.

Hope I have answered your queries. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
