I got what i believe is a bruise on the top of my hand - even thought i haven t hit it on anything that I can recall. It s been there for about 2 weeks now and yesterday I noticed white blotches on top of it and the skin is a little rough...wondering what it could be?

According to your complain you have problem of bruish in hand region that may be because of injury to hand.Blood vessels under skin rupture and blood leak in connective tissue may cause bruishing. That can subside within 3 to 4 week.
Low platelets count cause bruishing. Check your platelets count. Clothing disorder may lead to this type of problems.
Anticoagulant medicine also cause bruishing area. Consent a physician for further diagnosis. Proper physical examination give exact idea.
