What Causes A Bruised Vein On The Wrist With Stinging Sensation?

I was lifting cases of water this morning and noticed what appears to be a slight bruised vein within my left wrist. When it first happened it was slightly stinging(not unbearable) and now it Doesnt hurt but theres a tight pressure when touched. What happened to my vein?

Hi,

You would have damaged any capillaries on wrist rather than vein.
It happens due to trauma of overuse.
Put some ice on it.
It will go by itself.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
I find this answer helpful
