What Causes A Bulge At The Bottom Rib After Doing Leg Lifts?

Doing leg lifts and have bulge from bottom of rib cage to navel area. Not what I would call hard or soft. Kind of in between. When standing or laying down, nothing. Only shows up with leg lifts or sit ups. I have a bit of a belly but not large and I am not majorly overweight. No pain or unusual stool. ?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I don't think this is something to worry about. I think it is possible fatty tissue that takes this certain shape during exercise as the muscles underneath contract.

If you want to remove it you should keep up working up and also keep a hypocaloric diet.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka , General & Family Physician
