What Causes A Bulge At The Wrist?

I have noticed that I get a bulging on the right backside of my wrist in the vein near the wrist bone. At times you can see it pulsing. Other times it goes down. Is this something I should be concerned about? I know when I had my brain surgery this is where some thing was put to monitor my blood pressure or gasses but i forget which. I don't know if this weakened the vvein or not. Maybe that has nothing to do with it at all. It could be just something strange happening I have noticed the more I use it the more it swells up.

Hi,Dear,Thanks for your query to HCM.
Dear I read your query and reviewed it with context to your query facts.
Based on the facts of your query, you seem to suffer from-
Ganglion Cyst which increases in size when you use the wrist for more length of time / or could be from Engorged Vein after you use the wrist most./
Possibility of thrombosis in vein is negated as you are not certain and as the bulge at the wrist dome times goes down.
In My opinion Second opinion from a Surgeon / Ortho-surgeon would resolve this ambiguity with the blind discussion on this forum.
-Also a USG and CT study would confirm the intra-articular connection explaining the increased swelling in the right wrist when it is used more, thus confirming any accompanied wrist pathology like arthritis.

Hope this would help you to plan further treatment with your family and specialist doctors there.
Welcome for any further query in this regard.
Good Day!!
