What Causes A Bulky Uterus With Inflammation On PAP Smears?

im getting a ultra sound today of my uterus... obgyn said it felt bulky... what would be cause. im 38 and gave birth to 4 kids and i have a regular mentrul cycle with no heavy bleeding and no bleeding between periods... im scared why she said it was bulky at my yearly exam . last 2 pap smears came bck inflammation, havent got back result of this pap test done on monday
