What Causes A Bump And Pain In The Lower Ear After A Head Injury?

my son 26 year old 5 hrs ago fell back down off three steps hit back of head against casing around door when hit happen so fast he said he remember hitting it then 3 to 15 seconds found himself on floor no bleeding now has a small bump behind lower ear hurts when he touches it. no complaints of dizziness.

Hello

This is a hematoma after the injury. If he doesn't feel dizziness or nausea than no worries only painkillers for the pain.
