What Causes A Bump In Neck And Swelling On Right Side Of Face?
I have a bump in my neck and the right side of my face is somewhat swollen with a lot of pain.My dr. gave me a antibiotic and some steroids .the steroids help but after thy wore off the pain came back also dizzerness. I am a female and 77 yrs old.I will be going for a thyoid test next Tuesday.
As per your query bump in neck and swelling on right side of face is due to lymph node enlargement in that area. There must be some dental infection in your mouth either a carious tooth or improper hygiene which is spreading infection in head and neck region. Blockage of salivary gland duct in that area could be a major cause for your condition.
I would suggest you to visit an ENT specialist once and get this swelling examined and lab tests to be done to rule out thyroid related issues. After proper examination, FNAC or any further investigation will clear diagnosis for your condition.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
