What Causes A Bump On The Back Of The Thigh For A 55-year-old Female?
I am a 55 old female. Thursday night i notice a bump on the back side of my thigh. about 3 inches above my knee. Friday at work it started hurting. My husband looked at it and it is about an inch size and hot to touch and swollen. I have a temp about 100.00 what could this be?

By what you are explaining it looks like you have an abscess it is very important that you take a good antibiotic and give hot pads to the lesion.
