What Causes A Bump On The Buttock?

I am 17 and I have been having pain while sitting down. I went to the bathroom and when I went to the batro om I felt a bump on my inner right butt cheek. A few months ago I had abccess on my Kidney but they never found the source of my infection. Should I go to the doctor?

The possible diagnosis of the condition based on the description of the lesions is furunculosis which is an infection of the hair follicle.It can be treated with topical antibacterial creams like mupirocin.A short course of antibiotics like Azithromycin might also be taken after consulting your dermatologist. Regards
