What Causes A Bump On The Head And Jaw Soreness After Injury?

I fell the other day, had a hard hat on and my head hit the ground with the hard hat on. When this first happened I had a small bump on the top of my head and my jaw was sore. Bump is still there a little and jaw is back to normal function, neck is a little stiff. When lying down and getting up, I get really dizzy. no headaches

As you Did Not Experience any concussion symptoms (headache, confusion, lack of coordination, memory loss, nausea, vomiting, dizziness ) It seems that you had a Minor trauma and its been just one day since than so it is common to feel jaw soreness and neck stiffness and it will take some days to get to the normal again

You can Take Over the Counter anti inflammatory medicines like ibuprofen with Muscle relaxant Like Thiocholchicoside after consulting with your Doctor to relieve pain and stiffness
Along with this you should take Proper rest , apply ice packs to the sore areas to reduce any inflammation , drink plenty of water and eat healthy food

but if you feel any sign of concussion mentioned above and if Your symptoms do not Improve in 3-5 days than i would strongly suggest you to see your GP to rule out any underlying injury
