Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes A Bump With White Tissue Discharge Below The Nipple?
took a shower this morning and seen a small ball of tissue coming out of a bump just underneath of my nipple it doesn t hurt at all but it looks like a skin tag it wasn t there 2days ago do I press it all the way out or just let it keep coming out on its own
As per my clinical experience, the bump with white tissue discharge below the nipple indicates soft tissue lesion most likely. The most common cause of such bump or lump is sebaceous cyst which contains white sebum like material , showing up as pus discharge or smelly chalky white material from the centre region called punctum.
If you can upload a photo picture of the bump (if no objection) during next follow up discussion, I would be in a better condition to advise more precisely on surgical grounds.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
